“What will you do with your one wild and precious life?” ~ Mary Oliver
SoulCollage® is an intuitive process of creating many small collages and then giving voice to the images to discover their identity and the wisdom they carry. It is an imaginative, contemplative way to tell the story of one’s inner journey. The benefits of giving voice to the many dimensions of ourselves can include: increasing self-knowledge, balancing strengths and excesses of our personalities, gentle and profound healing of inner wounds, and discernment of life direction. For people of faith it is another way to pray. Deep listening to the stirrings within bring the joy of coming home to the life we are meant to live.
There will be two group gatherings each day for ritual, suggestions for reflection, and small group card readings. Between sessions, retreatants will have opportunities for card making, walking the labyrinth, and communing with the spirit of the land in the meadows, gardens and woodlands of Gilchrist. Whether you are new to SoulCollage® or are experienced creating cards, this retreat offers time and space to creatively explore your inner being and the wisdom and blessings available there.
About the Facilitator: Anita Smith Buckwalter is a spiritual midwife facilitating the increase of self-awareness and mindfulness of the Divine within.
